Gladys Lela Houk
April 29, 1901-1966Mrs. Gladys Lela Houk, 65, died Tuesday of last week at her home in Princeton. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Martin and Azbell Funeral Home. The Rev. Kenneth Kelley officiated. Burial was in the Princeton Cemetery.
Mrs. Houk was born April 29, 1901, in the Half Rock community. Her parents were Bill and Birdie Baker Laws. She was married to Tom Mastin and they were the parents of one son, Clifford Mastin of Kansas City. She was married Oct. 6, 1940 to Lafayette Houk who survives.
In addition to her husband and son she leaves two other sons, Charles Houk of North Kansas City and David Houk of Princeton; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Ann Miller and Mrs. Sally Roberts, both of Princeton; 30 grand children and five great grandchildren.
